Cellar
Log food by place, quantity, and date. Flag low stock and see what expires this week.
Food & Drink · iPhone & iPad
CellarList keeps what is in the pantry, fridge, and freezer in one place. Use food down, shop what is short, and cook from the stock you already have — all on the device, with no account and no store connection.
Log food by place, quantity, and date. Flag low stock and see what expires this week.
Send short items to a list. Check them off when you buy, then put groceries back on the shelf.
Save household recipes. Cooking deducts matching stock and sends missing bits to Shop.
The app
CellarList is a local inventory. You add names, amounts, units, and optional expiry dates. The app reminds you the morning before a saved date, shows food that is already expired, and can export a CSV of what you stored. It does not scan barcodes, suggest products, or talk to grocery stores.
Legal
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) is a contract between you and ios5studio (“we”, “us”) for your use of the CellarList application on iPhone and iPad (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
CellarList is a household food inventory tool. It lets you record items, quantities, storage places, notes, and expiry dates; maintain a shopping list; save personal recipes; deduct stock when you cook; and receive optional local expiry reminders. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial household use.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms of Use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law or by Apple’s terms.
You are responsible for the names, quantities, recipes, notes, and other information you enter. Do not store content you do not have the right to use. Inventory in the App is not medical, nutritional, or food-safety advice. Always use your own judgment about whether food is safe to eat.
The App does not purchase groceries, process payments, scan barcodes, or connect to retailers. Shopping lists are local reminders only. Any purchase you make is outside this Agreement.
The App is provided “as is”. Features may change. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that reminders will always arrive, or that inventory calculations will match every household’s units and habits. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ios5studio is not liable for lost food, spoiled inventory, missed reminders, lost local data (including if you delete the App), or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple is not a party to this Agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Household use by a family is your responsibility.
We may update this Agreement by posting a new version on this page and, where required, in the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it, which removes locally stored inventory from that device.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ios5studio operates, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Questions about this Agreement: use the CellarList listing on the App Store or write to ios5studio regarding CellarList (bundle identifier com.ios5studio.cellarlist).
Legal
This Privacy Policy describes how CellarList handles information. The App is designed to keep kitchen inventory on your device. We do not run user accounts and we do not operate a CellarList backend that receives your pantry data.
When you use the App, the following stays locally (Application Support files and standard app preferences):
This is household inventory you choose to type in. We do not consider it an account profile, and we do not upload it to ios5studio.
CellarList does not collect names, emails, payment cards, precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers. PrivacyInfo for the App states that tracking is off, there are no tracking domains, and no collected data types are declared. The App does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.
If you turn on expiry reminders, the App asks Apple’s notification permission and schedules local alerts on the device. Reminder content (for example, that an item is nearing its date) is assembled on-device. We do not send push notifications from a server.
From Settings you may export a CSV of cellar items and share it through the system share sheet. Where that file goes (Mail, Files, another app) is your choice and is governed by those services, not by CellarList.
The App uses UserDefaults to remember settings (reason CA92.1) and may access file timestamps for local JSON files it writes (reason C617.1). These APIs stay on the device.
Download, purchase, crash reports, and App Store reviews are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. ios5studio does not receive your pantry lists through those channels unless you send them to us yourself.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Local data remains until you delete items in the App or delete the App from the device. Uninstalling CellarList removes its local files on that device. There is no ios5studio cloud copy to erase.
Because inventory is stored on your device, it stays wherever that device is. We do not transfer CellarList pantry data across borders because we do not receive it.
If the App later adds accounts, sync, or network features, we will update this policy before those features collect new data. The date at the top will change when we do.
Privacy questions: contact ios5studio through the CellarList App Store listing and mention this policy. For requests about data on a specific device, use the App on that device or delete the App; we cannot remotely access your cellar.
