Trips on one list
Upcoming, packing, packed, and past trips sit together with dates, packed counts, and the bags you assigned. Search when the stack gets long.
iOS 17 · iPhone & iPad
Northpack is a packing list that stays on your device. Plan the bags, reuse what you always take, and catch the weight before you leave.
In the bag
Upcoming, packing, packed, and past trips sit together with dates, packed counts, and the bags you assigned. Search when the stack gets long.
Save the items you pack every time — passport, charger, rain shell — and drop a kit into the next bag instead of typing it again.
Split clothes, toiletries, documents, and gear across carry-on, personal item, and checked bags. Set a weight cap and mark what is over.
Optional local reminder the evening before you leave. Northpack does not need an account, iCloud, or a network connection to keep the list.
How you pack
Add dates, destination, and the bags you will actually carry. Start empty, from a template, or from a saved kit.
Check off items, flag essentials, and keep weight in kilograms or pounds. Over-limit bags stay marked until you move things around.
Share a text or CSV copy if someone else is packing with you. The working list stays on this device unless you export it.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Northpack mobile application for iPhone and iPad (the “App”), published by ios5studio (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Northpack is a personal packing tool. You can create trips, packing kits, bag assignments, item lists, weights, and optional local reminders. The App is designed to store that information on your device. It is not an airline, customs, or medical service, and it does not book travel.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your own packing and travel preparation, and in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and any App Store rules that apply to you.
Trip names, destinations, dates, packing items, kit names, bag limits, notes, and similar information you enter (“Your Content”) belong to you. You are responsible for its accuracy and for keeping a copy if you need one outside the App. Sharing a list through the system share sheet is initiated by you.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to interfere with its operation. Weight limits and packed counts are based on figures you provide. Do not rely on the App as the sole check against airline or safety rules.
The App does not create user accounts and does not require a Northpack login. Deleting the App, resetting the device, or clearing the App’s data may permanently remove Your Content from that device.
If you enable a reminder on a trip, the App may schedule a local notification on your device the evening before the trip starts. You can disable reminders in the App or in iOS Settings. Notifications are delivered by Apple’s local notification system on your device.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that packing lists, weights, or reminders will be complete, timely, or free of errors.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, MISSED FLIGHTS, EXCESS BAGGAGE FEES, OR OTHER TRAVEL COSTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR TEN US DOLLARS (US$10), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and ios5studio, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. In the event of a failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
We may update these Terms when the App changes. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page or in a later version of the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how Northpack (“the App”), published by ios5studio, handles information. The App is built to keep packing data on your device. We do not operate a Northpack account system and we do not run a Northpack cloud sync service.
When you use the App, the following stays locally on the iPhone or iPad where you installed it:
This information is written to local storage on the device (including the App’s application support files and standard system preferences). We do not receive a copy of it unless you choose to send it to us, for example by emailing a question and attaching an export.
The App does not require your name, email address, or phone number to function. It does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not use the camera, contacts, location services, or Health data. It does not upload packing lists to ios5studio servers.
If you allow notifications and enable a reminder on a trip, iOS schedules a local alert on that device (typically the evening before the trip start date). The notification title and body are built from the trip name and destination you entered. Notification permission is controlled by you in the App and in iOS Settings. We do not use notifications to track you.
You may export or share a packing list (for example as text or a CSV file) through the system share sheet. That share goes to the destination you pick — another app, a file, a message — not to a Northpack server. Once you share, the other app’s privacy rules apply.
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, Apple processes that transaction under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details.
The App is a general-audience packing tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your packing data remains on the device until you delete a trip or kit, clear the App’s data, or delete the App. Uninstalling Northpack removes the local store from that device. We have no remote copy to erase on our side.
Because packing data is stored on your device, it remains wherever that device is. This policy describes the App’s local-first design rather than a cross-border transfer of packing lists by us.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s behavior changes. The date at the top of this section will change when we do. The current policy will always be available on this page.
Privacy questions: support@ios5studio.com. If you contact us, we will use the address and message you send only to reply to that request.
