Water
Never miss a watering
Each plant keeps its own watering, fertilizing, and misting cycle. Today’s to-dos sit on the home screen, with overdue care called out in plain language.
Specimen PD-2026 · Houseplant · Local only
PlantsDrop is an iOS companion for the plants already living in your rooms. Photograph them, set how they like to be watered, and get reminded before the soil goes quiet. Journals, guides, and reminders stay on this device — never on a server.
Water
Each plant keeps its own watering, fertilizing, and misting cycle. Today’s to-dos sit on the home screen, with overdue care called out in plain language.
Remind
Optional local notifications fire when a task is due. Permission is asked only after you schedule care — never at launch. Decline them and the app still works on screen.
Record
A growth journal stores photos, height, and leaf count so change is visible, not just remembered. Sample plants ship with the app so you can see the rhythm; delete them whenever you like.
Guide
Offline notes on watering, light, soil, fertilizing, and pests, plus a symptom checker. The guides are general reference, not a substitute for a grower who can see the plant in the room.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PlantsDrop iOS application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
PlantsDrop helps you keep houseplant care schedules, growth notes, and reference guides on your own iPhone or iPad. The App is provided as a personal utility. It does not create an account, and it does not require a network connection.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or resell the App, except to the extent that applicable law forbids those restrictions.
You retain whatever rights you have in the plant names, notes, and photos you add. That material stays on your device. You are responsible for it, including making sure you have the right to photograph a plant and store the image. Because we never receive your content, we cannot recover it if the device is lost, reset, or the App is deleted.
Schedules, symptom suggestions, and care guides in the App are general reference material. They are not horticultural, botanical, or professional advice. Results depend on species, pot, soil, light, and climate. Use your own judgement. If a plant is valuable or unwell, consult a qualified grower or extension service.
The App may include a small set of sample plants so first launch is not an empty bench. They are demonstrations only. You may delete them at any time.
You agree not to use the App in any way that breaks the law, interferes with Apple’s services, or attempts to extract source code beyond what is allowed. The App is intended for personal plant care, not for medical, agricultural, or commercial crop decisions.
The App, its design, text, and built-in guide content are owned by the developer or licensors. Apple, iPhone, iPad, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. “PlantsDrop” is the product name of this App. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reminders will fire in every circumstance (for example if notifications are disabled, Low Power Mode is on, or the device is off).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of plants, data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, the limit applies only to the extent allowed.
We may update the App or these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may stop offering the App without notice.
These Terms are between you and the developer of PlantsDrop, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the App if you paid one. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the PlantsDrop product page on the App Store, using Apple’s developer contact listing.

PlantsDrop (the “App”; engineering name PlantsRecords) is designed to keep your plant data on your own device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the App does and does not do with information.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of the following:
Everything you add stays on your device, in the App’s private storage:
| What you create | Where it is stored |
|---|---|
| Plant profiles (name, species, room, light, water preferences) | Local database on your device |
| Care schedules and reminder history | Local database on your device |
| Growth journal entries | Local database on your device |
| Photos of your plants | The App’s private Documents folder on your device |
| Last selected tab | Local preferences on your device |
This data is not uploaded anywhere. It is removed when you delete the relevant item inside the App, or when you delete the App from your device.
Camera (optional). If you photograph a plant, iOS asks for camera access. The photo is written into the App’s private storage. We never receive it.
Photo library. Choosing a photo uses the system photo picker. The system grants access only to the image you pick. The App never receives access to your full library, and no photo-library permission is requested.
Notifications (optional). Care reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. Permission is requested only after you perform a care action, never at first launch. If you decline, the App remains fully usable and simply shows due and overdue states on screen. No notification content is sent to any server.
You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or in iOS Settings → PlantsDrop / PlantsRecords.
The App includes no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social SDKs. It contains no advertising and no trackers. Purchasing and installing the App through the App Store is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
The App is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data, it collects no data from children.
The plant-care guides, symptom suggestions, and reminder schedules in the App are general reference material. They are not a substitute for professional horticultural advice. Results depend on your local climate, soil, and plant condition.
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. To remove all data the App has created, delete individual items inside the App or uninstall the App from your device. Uninstalling removes the local database and all stored photos.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change, and the revised version will be published at the same URL. If a future version of the App ever introduces data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version ships.
Questions about this policy can be sent through the PlantsDrop product page on the App Store, using the developer contact listed there.
